About Us

Statement of faith:

We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who is God manifest in the flesh.  We believe in One God, in three divine Persons:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ, true God and true man, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and born of a virgin, Mary.  Jesus lived a sinless life, fulfilled the whole Law of God, was crucified, bore our sins in His own body, and died.  He descended into hell, and on the third day, rose again from the dead.  He ascended into heaven where He sits at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for the believers.

We believe in the bodily return of the Lord Jesus; the resurrection of the dead; and eternal judgment, with a literal heaven, and literal hell.

God has made Jesus both Lord and Christ (the Anointed One; Messiah).  His shed blood is the sole, and sufficient provision for the remission of men’s sins, to be received by faith.

Faith in Christ results in the remission of sin, the new birth, and the gift of eternal life.

We believe in the Person and ministry of the Holy Spirit, to glorify Jesus, to convict men of sin, and to regenerate the believer.  We believe that the Spirit will guide, teach, and empower the believer to live for, and to glorify, God.  We believe His gifts, His ministries, and His wonderful presence, are with the Church today.

We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, without error, and that we must be saved by grace, and justified by faith alone.  We believe that love is the essential reality of God’s nature; that the first and second Commandments reveal His priorities; and that the very goal of His commandments is love.

We further believe that God’s Word is to be practiced, by His grace and Spirit, not merely heard or affirmed.  We believe that the Bible is the most practical book ever written.  It reveals God’s will for every aspect of life and faith.  According to His Word, we believe that God’s will is to heal the Church of schism; there is one Lord, one faith, one body of Christ, one Spirit; and all believers are to maintain the unity of the Spirit; in the bond of peace and love - we believe in the ‘communion of saints’.
